Why does ACE prefer Morris Oil?
Golden Film Classic Motor Oils are recommended for use
in veteran, classic and vintage cars, vintage motorcycles, commercial vehicles and tractors, where engine design
and tolerances prohibit the use of modern multigrade,
high additive level oils.

What makes Morris Oil unique?
Modern dispersant additives keep combustion chamber contamination suspended in the lubricant, allowing full flow cartridge filters to remove it. Early oil filtration, usually in the form of a mesh gauze or strainer, is not efficient enough to remove this suspended material. Golden Film Motor Oils are low dispersant oils and allow the suspended matter to drop harmlessly into the sump.

Golden Film Classic Motor Oils also have enhanced anti-foam properties ensuring optimized performance in classic motorcycle gearbox designs.

Golden Film Oil

Golden Film SAE 30, SAE 40, & SAE 50 have low levels of detergent/dispersant making  them an ideal choice for 1960s/70s air-cooled engines without full flow filters

Golden Film SAE 20W/50 Classic Motor Oil is specialist high quality, low detergent/dispersant multigrade lubricant. This oil is suitable for use in naturally aspirated four stroke petrol and diesel engines and provides improved cold start circulation whilst maintaining good working oil pressure.

Golden Film AG Gear Oils are a range of mineral oil based lubricants, formulated without extreme pressure (EP) additives and are suitable for use in equipment where the manufacturer specifies a non-EP lubricant and are safe for use in transmissions that contain phosphor-bronze components.


Golden Film Running In Oil is blended from high quality mineral oils and a carefully balanced additive system. Careful running-in using this product can prevent any problems during this period and can greatly extend engine life.
