**An ACE observation on repairing 'Chinese-y' scooters:

In the current economy many people are purchasing economical modes of transportation & there are lots of affordable scooter options right now. But...
At ACE we have had shocking amounts of poor quality, cheap, Chinese scooters coming in for estimates. These new scooters are sold through big-box national retailers as well as local small scoot and go shops and we are seeing major defects occurring with less than 2 miles on the odometer. Although we are happy to attempt tpo service and repair them, often we are unable to source parts for these vehicles, therefore, we URGE you, when making your purchase decision, to consider that a scooter which is so inexpensive, is either disposable or non-serviceable.
